- 1 Strainer
- 1 bottom vessel
- 1 Mixer Grinder
Ingredients
- 400 grams Poha (thin)/ Rice Flakes
- Some Curry leaves
- 1/2 cup Roasted Chana Dal
- 1 Cup Peanuts
- Some Raisins
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1 tsp Red Chilly Powder
- 2 tsp Sugar
- Salt as per taste
Instructions

- Heat Oil in a Bottom Pan.
- Lower the flame once the oil is heated, and add poha for frying.
- Poha is Fried instantly; now Turn Off the heat and Drain the poha.
- Remove them in a strainer to strain access oil.
- In some oil, Fry the Peanuts until Crisp and Golden brown on Low Flame.
- Fry the Roasted chana dal for 2-3 mins and keep it aside.
- Now fry raisins and keep them aside.
- Lastly, fry the curry leaves until it turns Crispy.
- To make Chivda Masala, combine sugar, salt, turmeric, and chilli powder in a jar and blend until it forms a fine powder.
- Chivda/ Masala is ready.
- Add the fried ingredients along with the fried poha.
- Give a good mix.
- Next, add the chivda mixture masala to the ingredients and mix thoroughly. The dish is now ready to be served!
