- 1 Mixing Bowl
- 1 Kadhai
- 1 Spatula
Ingredients
- 250 grams Boneless Fish Pieces We can choose from Seer fish, Basa, Salmon, or any other boneless and fleshy options for the fish fillets.
- 1 tsp Red Chilly Powder
- 1 tsp ginger Garlic Paste
- 2 tbsp Gram Flour
- 1 tbsp Rice Flour
- 1 tbsp Curd
- 1/4 tsp Carrom Seeds
- 1/4 tsp Asofoetida
- Salt as per taste
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
- 1/2 tbsp Mustard Oil
- Oil for Deep Frying
- Half Lemon Juice
Instructions
- Amritsari fish ingredients
- Marinate the fish pieces with salt, lemon juice, ginger garlic paste, Red Chilly powder, Turmeric powder, Kasuri methi, Asofoetida, Carrom Seeds & Mustard Oil.
- Add 1/2 tbsp Mustard Oil.
- Mix and coat well in the fish and marinate it for 30 mins.
- After 30 mins, Add Curd, Gram FLour and RIch flour to the marinated fish.
- Please ensure that all ingredients are thoroughly combined.
- Heat enough Oil in a Kadhai for Deep Frying on a medium flame.
- Add fish pieces one by one and let them cook/ Fry on low flame for 3-4 mins.
- Fry the fish pieces until golden brown and crispy.
- Amritsari Fish is ready to be served with some Green chutney and salad.
