Equipment

  • 1 Kadhai
  • 1 Spatula

Ingredients
  

  • 250 grams Boneless Fish Pieces We can choose from Seer fish, Basa, Salmon, or any other boneless and fleshy options for the fish fillets.
  • 1 tsp Red Chilly Powder
  • 1 tsp ginger Garlic Paste
  • 2 tbsp Gram Flour
  • 1 tbsp Rice Flour
  • 1 tbsp Curd
  • 1/4 tsp Carrom Seeds
  • 1/4 tsp Asofoetida
  • Salt as per taste
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 1/2 tbsp Mustard Oil
  • Oil for Deep Frying
  • Half Lemon Juice

Instructions
 

  • Amritsari fish ingredients
  • Marinate the fish pieces with salt, lemon juice, ginger garlic paste, Red Chilly powder, Turmeric powder, Kasuri methi, Asofoetida, Carrom Seeds & Mustard Oil.
  • Add 1/2 tbsp Mustard Oil.
  • Mix and coat well in the fish and marinate it for 30 mins.
  • After 30 mins, Add Curd, Gram FLour and RIch flour to the marinated fish.
  • Please ensure that all ingredients are thoroughly combined.
  • Heat enough Oil in a Kadhai for Deep Frying on a medium flame.
  • Add fish pieces one by one and let them cook/ Fry on low flame for 3-4 mins.
  • Fry the fish pieces until golden brown and crispy.
  • Amritsari Fish is ready to be served with some Green chutney and salad.
