Equipment
- 1 Kadhai for deep frying
- 1 Strainer
Ingredients
- 1 Cup Sago (Sabudana) Soaked for 3 hours as per the instructions in the video
- 2 No Potatoes Boiled and Mashed
- 50 grams Roasted Peanuts
- 3 No Green Chillies Chopped
- Coriander leaves chopped
- Curry Leaves chopped
- 1/2 tsp Cumin Seeds
- Salt as per taste
Instructions
- Wash Sabudana in water twice and remove the extra starch from it.
- Now add very little water just to the level of the Sabudana and keep it for 3 hours.
- Ingredients of sabudana vada.
- Coarsely grind the roasted peanuts.
- Now add all the ingredients to the soaked sabudana.
- Mash all the ingredients together and bind them well
- Take lemon size balls and press them to get a vada shape.
- Drop a small vada in the oil to check whether the oil is hot, and the binding is proper.
- If the vada doesn’t break, that means the binding is proper
- Now start dropping vada in the hot oil and fry them until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove them in a paper tissue/ towel once done.
- Crispy, crunchy and non-greasy sabudana vadas are ready.
