How to make sev puri puri at home?

Equipment
- 1 Mixer Jar & Grinder
- 1 Mixing Bowl
- 1 Kadhai for deep frying
Ingredients
For Papdi
- 1 cup All-Purpose Flour
- 1 cup Semolina/ Rawa
- 1 tbsp Oil
- Salt as per taste
- 1/2 tsp Cumin Seeds
- 1/4 tsp Carrom Seeds
- Oil for Deep Frying
For Sev Puri Chat
- Papdi – Home Made
- Nylon Sev – Home Made
- Imli Ki chutney (Home made)
- Green Chutney (Home made)
- Chopped Coriander
- Chopped Onions
- Chopped Tomatoes
- Mashed Potatoes
- Cumin Seeds Powder
- Chat Masala
- Red Chilly Powder
- Salt
Instructions
- Sev Puri ingredients
- In a mixing bowl, add Maida, Rawa, Cumin & Carrom seeds and mix them well.
- Add water in portions and knead a stiff dough.
- The dough is ready. Now rest it for 30 mins.
- Knead the dough again after 30 mins and divide it into equal portions
- Roll it to a thin chapati
- Use a round dye/mould and cut it into round shapes
- Use a fork and poke the Papdis all across
- Heat oil in a kadhai and drop Papdis one by one into the kadhi
- Fry them until golden brown and crispy, stirring occasionally
- Remove them from paper tissue.
- Crispy and crunchy Papdi’s are ready; you can store it in an airtight container for two week
- For Sev puri chaat, we need, Papdi, Tamarind Chutney, and green chutney.
- Roughly mash the boiled potatoes.
- Place Papadis on the plates.
- Put some mashed potatoes over it.
- Add some chopped onions and tomatoes.
- Put some green chutney as per the taste.
- Put some Tamarind Chutney as per the taste.
- Sprinkle some chat masala, red chilly, cumin powder and salt
- Finally, cover it with Nylon Sev.
- Garnish with chopped coriander
- Chatpata Sev Puri Chat is ready to be served.
