How to make Korma Mutton recipe at home?

Equipment
- 1 Bottom Kadhai
- 1 Mixing Bowl
- 1 Mixer Grinder
Ingredients
- 500 grams Mutton
- 3 No Onions Sliced
- 1/2 Cup Curd
- 2 tbsp. Cashew Paste/ Cream
- 1 tsp Red Chilly Powder
- 1 tsp Kashmiri Red chilly powder
- 1 tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste
- 2 tbsp Coriander Powder
- 1/2 tsp Roasted Cumin Powder
- 1/2 tsp Garam masala
- 1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder
- Salt as per taste
- Bay leaf, Green & Black Cardamom, Shahi Jeera, Black peppercorns, Cinnamon sticks, Cloves, Maze & Star Anise Whole Spices
Instructions
- Ingredients of korma mutton recipe
- Marinate the mutton pieces with curd, ginger garlic paste, red chilly powder, Coriander powder, cumin powder, Turmeric and salt.
- Mix all the ingredients and marinate them for 30 mins.
- Heat oil in a kadhai to deep fry the onions until crispy brown on high med flame
- Heat a bottom vessel and add 2 tbsp ghee & 2 tbsp oil.
- Add whole spices and roast them until aromatic on low flame.
- Add 2-3 slit Green Chilies.
- Add the marinated Mutton pieces and saute on high flame for 5 mins.
- Add 2 Cups of hot water and let it boil on a high flame
- Cover with an airtight lid and allow it to cook on flame for 1 hour (stir occasionally)
- Coarsely grind the crispy fried onions.
- Check after 1 hour
- Now add the coarsely ground fried onion powder and mix it well.
- Add cashew paste and stir it again.
- Finely add Garam Masala and Kashmiri Red Chilly Powder.
- Cover and Cook for Another 10 mins on low flame
- Delicious Mutton Korma is ready to be served !!!

- This recipe can be made in Cooker to reduce the time of cooking
- Marinate the mutton pieces atleast for 30 mins for a better result (the more the better)
- Make sure the onions are golden and crispy brown to get the authentic taste and color to the gravy
