Equipment

  • 1 Mixing Bowl
  • 1 Strainer
  • 1 bottom vessel
  • 1 whisker

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Cup Maida/All Purpose Flour
  • 1/2 Cup Sugar
  • 1/2 Cup Refined Oil (Or Butter)
  • 1/3 Cup Milk
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1 tbsp Vanilla Essence
  • 2 No Eggs

Instructions
 

  • Ingredients
  • Grease a cake tine or a flat base vessel with ghee/ butter
  • Dust some flour and spread it all around the greased tin
  • Now strain the maida along with baking soda and baking powder
  • Take a mixer jar and add two eggs, sugar and oil and blend it for 1-2 mins.
  • Transfer the mixture to a mixing bowl
    Now add the flour in portions and fold and mix the batter.
  • Now add vanilla essence and mix it.
  • Finally, add milk and mix it.
  • Transfer the cake batter to the greased tin and tap it once
  • Garnish it with some raisins and cashews or tutty fruity
  • Keep the cake tin on the stand and cover it with the lid without rubber and whistle and cook on low-medium flame for 40 mins.
  • After 40 mins, check the cooked
  • Check the cake using a knife/ skewer, and if it comes out clean, it's ready
  • After some time, release it from the sides and turn it around on a plate.
  • The soft and spongy cake is ready to eat!!!
