- To make the mixture, start with a large mixing bowl and add Ragi Flour. Next, include Wheat Flour and Rice Flour in the same bowl.

- Add dry masalas - Red Chilly Powder, Turmeric Powder, Cumin Seed Powder, Chat Masala & Salt as per taste.

- Mix all the ingredients thoroughly to ensure an even distribution of the spices and salt.

- Gradually add water and knead the dough until it is as soft as chapati dough.

- To deep fry, heat oil in a kadhai.

- To make chips, insert the chips mould into the chakli maker and consider greasing the inside of the maker for easier use.

- To make chaklis, place a portion of dough into the chakli maker, filling only 3/4 of the container. Close the lid tightly.

- Once the Oil is hot, please Keep it on a low-medium flame and directly squeeze the chips into it.You have to be careful while doing this step as this might burn your hands if not done carefully.

- After 30-45 secs:Please turn it on another side.Make sure you turn it around occasionally to cook from all sides.Fry them on low flame until it becomes crispy and crunchy.

- After the chips have become crispy, take them out of the oil and place them on a paper towel or kitchen cloth.

- Once the chips are fried and ready, We will make a spice mix to make the ragi chips more chatpata and tangy.We need Red Chilly Powder, Chat masala & Salt for the spice mix.

- Once all the ingredients are combined, the spice mix will be ready for use.

- Sprinkle the spice mix over the ragi chips and keep tossing to spread it across and coat well from all sides.

- The Ragi Chips are a convenient and easy-to-eat snack. They can be kept fresh for up to 2 weeks by storing in an airtight container.

Chat Masala is optional but gives a pleasant tangy taste to the chips
You can even add fried curry leaves over the fried chips if you like curry leaves flavour.
