How to make Hariyali Chicken Recipe at home?

- 1 Mixing Bowl
- 1 Mixer Grinder
- 1 bottom vessel
Ingredients
- 500 grams Chicken
- 2 No Onions Finely Chopped
- 8-10 No Cashews (soaked in water)
- 1/2 Cup Curd
- 1 tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
- 1/2 tbsp Black Pepper Powder
- 1/2 tbsp Cumin Powder
- 1/2 tbsp Garam Masala
- Salt as per taste
- 1 No bunch of coriander leaves
- 1 No bunch of Mint leaves
- 3-4 No green chillies
- Whole spices
- Oil for Cooking
Instructions
- Hariyali chicken recipe ingredients.
- Marinate the chicken with curd, ginger garlic paste, turmeric & Salt.
- Mix it well and let it rest for 30 mins.
- Meanwhile, heat a kadhai and add 2-3 tbsp of Oil.
- Add whole spices and let it roast.
- Add finely chopped onions and fry them until golden brown on low flame.
- Then add some Salt while frying the onions.
- Once the onions turn golden brown, add the marinated chicken.
- Cook it on a high flame for 4-5 mins.
- Make the green masala past by adding coriander, mint, Green Chilies & cashew and grind it to a fine paste with a bit of water.
- Now add the green masala paste to the chicken and mix it well.
- Mix and cook it well.
- Check to season and add Salt as per taste.
- Then add all the dry masala – cumin powder, Garam Masala & Black pepper powder.
- Mix it thoroughly.
- Once it starts boiling, lower the flame and let it cook for 15-20 mins.
- After 15 mins, check the chicken.
- Add some Kasuri Methi by crushing it in your palms.
- Mix everything properly.
- Hariyali chicken is ready to be served.
