Ingredients of veg fried rice recipe
Take enough water, about 3 litres, in a bottom vessel.
Add salt and let it bail.
Once the water starts boiling, add the basmati rice and let it cook on a high flame for about 5-7 mins.
After 7-10 mins, the rice is almost cooked, about 90%
Drain the rice in a Strainer.
Pour normal water over it to remove extra starch to avoid sticking to the rice
Spread the rice over a flat plate and pour about a tbsp of oil.
Take a bottom Kadao and pour some oil; keep on a high flame.
Add chopped ginger, garlic and green chillies and fry them well.
Now add onions & other veggies and fry for 1 min on high flame.
Fry them until half-cooked to keep them crunchy.
Now add rice to the fried veggies.
Along with rice, add all sauces, salt and black pepper powder.
Mix and stir the rice using two staples
Add chilly flakes (optional)
Mix everything properly
Veg fried rice is ready. Serve it hot!!!
