Ingredients
  

  • 1 Cup Lukewarm Milk
  • 1/2 Cup Sugar
  • 2 No Eggs
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Essence

  • 1 Frying Pan
  • 1 Mixing Bowl
  • 1 Idli maker

Method
 

  1. Ingredients of caramel custard
  2. To make caramel - heat a pan on low flame and melt the Sugar until golden brown
  3. Immediately add the sugar caramel into the Remkin bowls or Cake Tin.
  4. Keep them aside and let them cool.
  5. Add two eggs and 2 tbsp sugar in a mixing bowl and whisk it well.
  6. Then it goes in Vanilla Essence
  7. Finally, add Milk and whisk it again for a while
  8. Using a strainer, strain the mixer to get a smooth batter.
  9. Pour the mixture into the bowls
  10. Cover the bowls using an aluminium foil
  11. Place the bowl in a steamer and steam them on a medium flame for 20-25 mins
  12. Check after 25 mins and remove the tray aside.
  13. To check its cooked, use a skewer stick and do a clean stick test
  14. After 2-3 hours, release the sides using a knife.
  15. Keep a plate upside down and transfer it to a plate gently.
  16. The delicious and mouth-melting Egg Caramel Custard is ready to be served!!
