Ingredients
  

  • 1 Cup Gram Flour
  • 1 Cup Curd
  • 2 Cups Water
  • ½ tsp Turmeric Powder
  • Salt as required
  • 1 tbsp Ginger and Chilly Paste
  • ½ tsp White Sesame Seeds
  • ½ tsp Mustard Seeds
  • Curry Leaves
  • Chopped Coriander Leaves

  • 1 Mixing Bowl
  • 1 whisker
  • 1 Frying Pan

Method
 

  1. Khandvi recipe ingredients
  2. Add one curd and 2 cups of water to a mixing bowl.
  3. Whisk it well with a whisker.
  4. Add besan or gram flour in portions and whisk it continuously to avoid lumps.
  5. Add turmeric and salt
  6. Mix it well with a whisker.
  7. Add 1 tbsp Ginger and Chilli paste.
  8. Add 1 tbsp Ginger and Chill Paste.
  9. Take a nonstick pan and pour the batter by straining it.
  10. Please keep it on a low flame and continuously stir it to form a sticky paste.
  11. This should take 5-7 mins.
  12. Continuously stir it to avoid lumps.
  13. The paste is ready, with non-pouring consistency.
  14. Take a flat scapula and spread it across the plate evenly.

  17. After 5 mins, cut it to equal size strips
  18. Now slowly start rolling each strip
  19. Once the oil is hot, add mustard seeds.
  20. Then add curry leaves and turn off the heat.
  21. Then add white sesame seeds and roast well.
  22. Khandvi recipe is ready to be served!!!
