Ingredients
  

  • 1 Cup Gram Flour
  • 1 Cup Curd
  • 2 Cups Water
  • ½ tsp Turmeric Powder
  • Salt as required
  • 1 tbsp Ginger and Chilly Paste
  • ½ tsp White Sesame Seeds
  • ½ tsp Mustard Seeds
  • Curry Leaves
  • Chopped Coriander Leaves

Instructions

  • Add one curd and 2 cups of water to a mixing bowl.
  • Whisk it well with a whisker.
  • Add besan or gram flour in portions and whisk it continuously to avoid lumps.
  • Add turmeric and salt
  • Mix it well with a whisker.
  • Add 1 tbsp Ginger and Chilli paste.
  • Add 1 tbsp Ginger and Chill Paste.
  • Take a nonstick pan and pour the batter by straining it.
  • Please keep it on a low flame and continuously stir it to form a sticky paste.
  • This should take 5-7 mins.
  • Continuously stir it to avoid lumps.
  • The paste is ready, with non-pouring consistency.
  • Take a flat scapula and spread it across the plate evenly.

  • Let this cool for 5 mins.
  • After 5 mins, cut it to equal size strips
  • Now slowly start rolling each strip
  • Once the oil is hot, add mustard seeds.
  • Then add curry leaves and turn off the heat.
  • Then add white sesame seeds and roast well.
  • Khandvi recipe is ready to be served!!!
