How to make Soya Chaap Recipe at home?
Soya Chaap Recipe
Equipment
- 1 Kadhai
- 1 Kadhai for deep frying
- 1 Mixer Grinder
Ingredients
- Soya Chaaps (Home Made)
- 4 No Tomatoes Roughly Chopped
- 3 No Onions Finely Chopped
- 2 Tbsp Curd
- 7-8 No Garlic Cloves
- 1 No piece Ginger
- 2-3 No Green Chillies
- 2 tsp Kashmiri Red Chilly powder
- 1 tsp Dhana Jeera Powder
- Kasuri Methi
- 1/2 tsp Haldi
- 1/2 tsp Chaat Masala
- 1/2 tsp Garam Masala
- 8-10 No Cashews Soaked in hot water for 30 mins
- Salt to taste
- Oil for Cooking
Instructions
- Soya Chaap Ingredients
- Cut the Soya Chaap into small pieces.
- Then Marinate the Soya Chaap with Red chill Powder, Salt and some chaat masala.
- Mix everything well
- Fry the Marinated Soya Chaap until Golden brown
- In a Kadhai, add some oil and some Butter.
- After the butter is melted, add some whole spices – Cumin, cinnamon & Cloves
- Then add finely chopped onions and saute until golden brown.
- Then Grind together Tomato, Garlic, Green Chillies and Cashews
- Once the Onions are golden brown, add the tomato puree and saute until the oil separates
- Add salt as per taste.
- Add chilly red powder, turmeric, Dhana Jeera Powder & Chaat Masala. P.S – I said b mistake; it's Chaat Masala 🙂
- Now add Curd and mix it well.
- Add some water and let it boil.
- Transfer the fried Soya Chaaps into the Gravy
- Add 1 Cup of Water and let it boil, and cook for 2-3 mins on low flame.
- Add some Kasuri Methi & Garam Masala
- Finally, add some chopped Corianderleaves.
